Commercial Journeyman Plumber

We are looking for a Journeyman Plumber to join our team at L&L Plumbing and Heating in Reno, NV.

As a Journeyman Plumber, you will work in diverse construction projects, including distribution warehouses, office buildings, industrial manufacturing and commercial buildings.

In your role you will be:

• Doing installations

• Mentoring apprentices

• Demonstrating pride in workmanship

• Be the driving force in turning project blueprints into realities

Job requirements:

• Current Drivers License.

• Proven working experience in practical installations.

• Leadership and personnel management skills.

• Self-motivated with excellent time, scope, and task management skills.

• Minimum of 4 years of Mechanical Piping & Plumbing.

• Required Trade license(s).

• Skillful in clear and effective communication between vendors, sub-trades, in-house management and field crafts.

• Sound understanding of industry relative to mechanical install.

• Ability to work as a team and successfully collaborate to complete a given task promptly.

• Safety minded individual.

• Ability to read project plans and diagrams and follow building code along with project specs

• Experience with: Roof drain, sanitary, vent, domestic water, natural gas, compressed air systems and plumbing fixtures and plumbing equipment.
