About Gecko Enterprises LLC:
Gecko Enterprises LLC is a small family business operating out of Glendale, AZ since 1997. We specialize in residential construction plumbing, wet utilities, and dry utilities throughout greater Phoenix, Maricopa County, and beyond for tract homes, luxury custom residential homes, occasional commercial projects, and rare service calls.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Plumbing Foreman to oversee plumbing operations through project and customer management, team training, and hands-on ability to work directly on projects alongside the team. The current team is made up of 5 plumbers of varying degrees of skill and talent, and the Plumbing Foreman will be expected to continue to grow the team over the coming months and years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE:
Lead and supervise plumbing crews, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely, and at the highest quality
Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide project updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Work with and install multiple plumbing material applications: ABS, Copper pipe, PVC, Poly, and metal pipe applications
Set up and perform plumbing tests
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing system issues effectively
Oversee the procurement of plumbing materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
Identify training needs for plumbing crews and coordinate relevant training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Ensure that all plumbing work is performed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner and that all work areas are left clean and tidy after completion.
COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with other superintendents, schedulers, and other construction professionals to develop schedules on projects.
Coordinate plumbing activities with other trades to ensure seamless integration with overall project timelines.
Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and supervise plumbing crews, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely, at the highest quality and in accordance with project specifications.
Provide guidance and support to plumbing teams, promoting a positive, empowering and productive work environment.
Estimates and Purchasing:
Have knowledge of industry pricing in order to create estimates and change orders in the field based on customer requests and to complete project purchases
Work with vendors to quote projects, with awareness of overhead and profitability
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements. Propose alternative materials, construction methods, or process improvements to optimize project costs.
Track materials on projects to support management with understanding of profitability
Complete necessary purchasing and inventorying to ensure yard storage and team trucks are stocked with the essentials to prevent unnecessary trips to the supply house during the workday
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce high-quality standards for plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or deviations from project requirements.
Material and Resource Management:
Oversee the procurement of plumbing materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to ensure the well-being of plumbing teams.
Plumbing Foreman Problem Solving:
Address and resolve any plumbing-related issues that may arise during the construction process.
Collaborate with plumbing crew to find efficient solutions to challenges and obstacles.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of plumbing activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and manpower allocation.
Provide regular updates to the scheduler on the status of plumbing operations.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide project updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between plumbing teams and project stakeholders.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs for plumbing crews and coordinate relevant training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Plumbing Foreman Requirements:
Spanish speaking a plus (not required)
Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent in the field
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and permitting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Valid Driver’s License, CDL a big plus
Experience:
Construction plumbing: 10 years (Required)
Residential construction: 10 years (Required)
journeyman plumber: 5 years (Required)
