About the role
A Journeyman Plumber is needed for Residential and Commercial jobs in the Miami, Florida and the surrounding area. They will oversees the completion of all aspects of plumbing projects. Performs a full range of plumbing tasks safely, including assemble, install, or repair pipes according to specifications or plumbing codes.
Inspects, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures
Leads troubleshooting efforts and repairs always focused on quality services
Promotes and fosters teamwork within the plumbing project crew
Maintain organization and ensure schedules are met
Provides support by managing, coordinating and following job schedules: i.e., labor hours, material costs, change orders
Support a safe and clean work environment and follow company procedures
Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization
Performs other duties and special projects
Requirements
Plumber Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
5 years of plumbing experience
Knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance and repair skills
Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs
Ability to operate smartphone technology, hand tools and power tools
Apply shop mathematics to solve problems
Able to read instructions and blueprints and follow safety procedures
Ability to work with minimal supervision and travel independently
Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
Legally eligible to work in the US
Pre-employment background screening (criminal, drug screen and DMV) is required for all positions
