What you'll be doing as a Plumbing Dispatcher
As a Dispatcher, you will effectively coordinate multiple technicians and projects by performing various coordinating tasks, such as scheduling, calendar management, and communicating with customers and technicians. You will also help facilitate necessary process changes and implantation along with helping lead, mentor and train other team members.
Dispatchers are expected to work in a fast-paced environment, managing several tasks at once, and will work closely with internal personnel and leadership.
Responsibilities
Execute approved strategies and plans that will result in team and individual goal attainment
Effective coordination of multiple technicians
Calling customers to set up service appointments
Professionally answering the phone in a polite, friendly manner
Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
Review material purchase orders and upload into field service software for job costing purposes
Assist Service Manager in completing accurate and timely paperwork (i.e. Will Calls, Project Worksheets, etc.)
Assist other departments as needed
Requirements
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
At least two (2) years of Customer Service or related experience
Ability to work through internal and external project issues in a timely manner
Technically competent and proficient with software programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Strong written and oral communication skills: In-person meetings, E-mail & Phone calls

Ability to follow through with tasks and complete them on time
Works well under pressure
Demonstrated and successful leadership experience
Successful process development and implantation experience
