Plumbing Service Technician

We are currently in need of Plumbing Technicians in Simi Valley, CA.

Results Statement

The results of successfully performing this role include converting jobs at the company KPI standard while completing the required work in an organized and quality-controlled manner to the customer’s ultimate satisfaction.

Tactical Work:

• Create turnover opportunities for the sales department

• Identify the appropriate way to satisfy our customer’s needs through the various services and offerings provided by Goettl, provide three options

• Cross promote all products sold by the business

• Inspect all Plumbing systems to identify preventive maintenance, repair and replacement opportunities that will benefit the customer

• Ensure all appropriate tests are performed and documented during maintenance, including static pressure, refrigerant charge and amperage draws

Vital Factors:

• Meet or exceed the following daily budgeted KPIs for your department:

• Maintain callback rate less than 3%

• Maintain your truck inventory to the appropriate PAR level

• MFO & DFO

• Meet or exceed budgeted lead generation and sales goals

• Maintain a customer satisfaction score of 4.5 or higher

• Represent yourself consistent with Goettl standards for punctuality, experience and appearance

• Perform your duties efficiently and maintain your vehicle in a clean and safe manner

• Provide an amazing experience for the customer on every job

• Look for ways to modernize your customer’s systems

• Follow the appropriate checklist for all jobs

• Perform all work with accuracy and attention to detail, leaving the customer’s home better than you found it

• Communicate all information to the customer so they can make an informed decision

• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools

Requirements

• 2 years of residential plumbing experience

• OSHA 10 Certification (Construction Safety and Health)

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

• Professional appearance

• Reliable attendance

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening (Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, Propoxyphene, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone) and comprehensive background check

• US work authorization

Physical Demands:

Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying. Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic chemicals, outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Requires local travel.
