Residential Plumber

Established, Top Rated, Construction Management and Remodeling Company seeking motivated, detail oriented, self-starters with ground up and seasoned experience.

At our company, the Plumber role is essential and assists the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of our projects.

We typically have 4 to 7 residential renovation projects going on at one time and the plumber is expected to travel from job to job as needed.

Qualifications:

• Home Addition, Kitchen, and Bath remodeling experience

• 2 to 5 years experience in rough and finish plumbing

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade

• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices

• Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings

• Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper

• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted

• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

• Must pass skills examination – written and/or on the job demonstration

• State plumbing license

• Valid driver’s license

• Must have own tools

• Having knowledge/skills in different trades would be a major advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential structures.

• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.

• Follow building plans and blueprints.

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.

• Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.

• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
